Manor Made Cornwall - You’re welcome

A love of baking brought our team to Carlyon Bay in 2021 and led to opening of Manor Made Beach Café selling cream teas, cakes and bakes along with good coffee.

Baking everything we sell has been a core value since day one and remains strong today.

From a desire to create a small batch bakery; utilising the local products a quirky, small but strong Beach Café menu grew.

2021 - Manor Made Beach cafe opened on Carlyon Bay Beach, continues to be open year round.

2023- Cake Tin opened at Little Winnick Touring Park

2024 - our scones, sweet potato roll and caramel slice won GOLD and our sausage roll and brownie won SILVER in the Taste for the West Awards .

2025 - The Cake Tin becomes our baking home and seasonal cafe at Little Winnick Touring Park.

2026 - Manor Made Tearoom, Caerhays Castle opens and begins a three year residency.

2026 - Fry Buoys and Frooth join the Manor Made family.

2026 - Cheese sones win GOLD, pineapple fruitcake and cinnamon knots win SILVER at Taste of the West Awards.

Now years on Manor Made Cornwall has maintained it’s principles of baking what we sell. From the bakes and cakes you find across our three cafes you can be assured it is all handcrafted by our growing team of bakers and cakers.

Over time we have grown from our begins of baking in a Manor house, to moving to our very own baking home at Cake Tin at Little Winnick, now the back bone of our operations.

Early 2026 we began our residency as a seasonal tearoom at the magical Caerhays Castle, our first bricks and mortar (and very thick Cornish stone wall) tearoom. We are very excited to return in 2027 and for many more years to come.

More recently, we secured the next door two venues to the beach cafe; offering traditional fish and chips in Fry Buoys and smoothies and bowls in Frooth.

What started as one beach cafe is now a collection of five food and drink destinations; where you can eat, drink gather and feel good - because you’re welcome.
