There's a particular kind of comfort that only shows up once the evenings draw in — the smell of something baking, a bowl of something warm, a reason to slow down. That's exactly what we've been cooking up for our new autumn menu at the Beach Cafe, Carlyon Bay
What's new
Our kitchen has spent the last few weeks testing, tasting, and tweaking — because we love bringing you something new, something exciting, and something you know will be worth coming to the beach for. We have some very special new coffees. Personally I dislike flavoured coffee - I like it plain and simple, I want to taste the quality coffee we choose to use…but the new autumn flavours are special. They left the coffee to new hights…you need to try them. But that’s not all.
This season, that means:
Heartier bakes — think spiced, seasonal flavours instead of summer's lighter fare
New savoury options — proper homemade soups, maybe even the return of the beloved award winning sausage roll
Comfort, done properly — nothing fussy, just food worth stopping for, and cinnamon knots. We have listened, the most asked for thing we make. They are back. Keep an eye out on our socials for when you can get them.
Why it matters
Our role is simple: wherever we are — beach, castle, kitchen — we want to make people feel welcome through food worth stopping for. Autumn is when that idea matters most. The nights are shorter, the walks are colder, and a good bake or a warm plate of food means more.
